We’re improving bus reliability and creating better lighting, wider footpaths, more public seating, outdoor dining and more along the route from Lambton Quay to Willis and Manners Streets, and along Courtenay Place. The city’s busiest pedestrian area and our prime employment, shopping and entertainment destination will be more vibrant, welcoming and safer to get around.  

We’re currently reviewing the planning that’s been done so far and preparing for construction but haven’t yet set a schedule for when works will start. We’ll make sure that residents and businesses get the information they need well in advance, and we’ll work hard to minimise disruption.
