Vision
A creative capital where people and nature thrive
Wellingtonians want a city that is climate-friendly, affordable, and a welcoming place to live for generations to come. So we’re investing in the critical infrastructure that our city needs to flourish.

A city that works for everyone? Absolutely
Our work is guided by long-term strategic planning, as we connect different projects to create an integrated city that we’re all proud of. We’ve got ambitious goals for our environmental, social, cultural and economic wellbeing, and our Tākai Here partners guide us along the way. Learn more about our strategic plans and policies here.
